ND trip

We are finally back from our trip to North Dakota. It was so much fun letting Adalyn meet everyone and to just hang out at home. We did not want to leave!! The drive back to Denver was pretty simple since Adalyn slept the whole time but it seemed like it took forever! 11 hrs but it was worth it! Thanks to both of our parents for letting us stay!!

We are heading towards home tomorrow afternoon and are so excited! We will be meeting GramPam in Spearfish to get the rest of the way home. Adalyn and I will be in Killdeer first, then in Dickinson. We cannot wait to see everyone again and meet the rest!!! Hopefully you are ready for her smiling face!!! She has gotten really good at smiling just in time!!!

This is Adalyn snoozing in our bed... We had a great night last night... She slept in her crib from 11:30pm-5:30 am!! Then woke up, ate, and fell asleep laying on our bed from 6:30-9!!! What a good baby!! She woke up all smiles, too! And for the first time in over a week I was able to catch one on my camera. Isn't her smile just the cutest thing ever!!

We also met Adalyn's new daycare lady last night and she is amazing! Ironically she grew up in Glasgow, MT!! So we had a lot to talk about. The rooms at the daycare are decorated like the Hundred Acre woods and Disney princesses, with a Disney Cars room on the way. Cheryl reminds me of our moms so I know she will be in good hands. Also, when Cheryl held Adalyn, She spit up on her and pooped her diaper so she must have felt comfortable with her!!!

Slacker!

Sorry I have not been updating the new Blog. Justin worked all weekend so I was busy with Adalyn. She was having an issue with sleeping on Saturday. Now.. Back to normal! Justin and I are going to check out a daycare tonight and are hoping it is great! I will be back to work part time Aug 17th so I need to get that figured out! We will keep you posted! More to come soon!

Rach flew here to visit us Sunday thru Tuesday. We just relaxed and went shopping. She definitely got some good bonding time with Adalyn! She loves her Crazy Rach! We cannot wait until Septemeber when we get to fly to Fargo for her wedding!!
